Nitinol Shape Memory Sheets and Plates consist of around 55–56% nickel and 44–45% titanium, creating a near-equiatomic alloy renowned for its shape memory and superelasticity. Mechanically, these sheets have a tensile strength of approximately 895–1000 MPa and elongation at break of 10–15%, which supports repeated deformation and recovery cycles. They change their phases from martensite to austenite and vice versa between -20°C and 110°C temperatures. Having a density of 6.45 g/cm³, good fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance in different environments, Nitinol sheets are specifically suitable for uses that demand high resilience, flexibility, and heat sensitivity.
