Nimonic Sheets and Plates consist mainly of nickel (70–80%) and chromium (15–21%), with the addition of titanium (2–3%), aluminum (1–2%), and trace amounts of carbon (≤0.1%) and cobalt. This alloy has superior oxidation and corrosion resistance, with high tensile strength (up to 1000 MPa) and yield strength (approximately 600 MPa). The elongation is between 20–30%, and the alloy maintains mechanical strength at high temperatures above 800°C. With a density of about 8.2 g/cm³, Nimonic has good creep resistance and is suitable for parts subjected to thermal stress and harsh operating conditions.
