Rene 41 Sheets and Plates contain about 54% nickel, 19% chromium, 11% cobalt, 10% molybdenum, 3% titanium, and 1.5% aluminum along with minute amounts of carbon (≤0.09%) and boron (≤0.01%). It provides outstanding mechanical strength and resistance to oxidation. Rene 41 possesses a tensile strength of around 1380 MPa, yield strength of approximately 1030 MPa, and elongation of around 10–15%. It exhibits strength up to a temperature of 870°C. With 8.36 g/cm³ density and excellent creep and fatigue resistance, Rene 41 finds applications in extreme environments where structural integrity is paramount.
