Sheets and Plates of Tungsten are made up of ≥99.95% tungsten (W) pure, and trace quantities of elements such as molybdenum (Mo), carbon (C), and oxygen (O) will typically be ≤0.05% each. Tungsten has a very high melting point of 3,410°C and a density of 19.3 g/cm³. The tensile strength is between 700–1000 MPa, and it has very high hardness (Mohs scale 7.5–8). Thermal conductivity is approximately 170 W/m·K, and electrical resistivity is roughly 5.3 μΩ·cm. These characteristics make tungsten plates and sheets suitable for high-stress, high-temperature, and corrosive conditions where strength and stability are essential.
