AWS Class ERNiCr-3 SAW and Flux Welding Wire usually contains Nickel (Ni) 67–72%, Chromium (Cr) 19–23%, Iron (Fe) ≤5%, Manganese (Mn) ≤1%, Silicon (Si) ≤0.75%, Carbon (C) ≤0.10%, and trace constituents such as Copper (Cu) ≤0.5%. It provides high mechanical strength with tensile strength about 690 MPa, yield strength of 440 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. The wire has a density of approximately 8.4 g/cm³ and a melting range between 1300°C and 1390°C. These properties ensure strong, ductile welds that perform reliably under corrosive and high-temperature service conditions.
