Nickel Alloy Flanges consist mainly of Nickel (up to 99.0% according to grade), with strictly controlled percentages of Iron (0.4%), Manganese (0.35%), Silicon (0.35%), Copper (0.25%), Carbon (up to 0.15% in Nickel 200, up to 0.02% in Nickel 201), and Sulfur (0.01%). Such flanges have superior tensile strength—usually between 403 MPa and 462 MPa—yield strength between 103–148 MPa, and elongation of up to 45%. They are not magnetic, possess a density of 8.89 g/cm³, and have a melting range of 1435–1446°C. Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity render them suitable for high-performance structural and sealing uses in harsh environments.
