Hastelloy Screws, especially of grade C22, have approximately 56% Nickel, 20–22.5% Chromium, 12.5–14.5% Molybdenum, 2–6% Iron, and 2.5–3.5% Tungsten. Trace constituents are Cobalt (up to 2.5%) and Manganese (up to 0.5%). These screws offer a tensile strength of around 690 MPa, a yield strength of 283 MPa, and elongation of around 45%. The density is 8.69 g/cm³, while the melting point is between 1350°C and 1400°C. Hastelloy screws have great resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking and are extremely reliable in reducing and oxidizing conditions.
