Hastelloy Threaded Rods, especially of grade C22, are comprised of around 56% Nickel, 20–22.5% Chromium, 12.5–14.5% Molybdenum, 2–6% Iron, and 2.5–3.5% Tungsten, and minute quantities of trace elements such as Cobalt (up to 2.5%) and Manganese (up to 0.5%). Hastelloy threaded rods provide the tensile strength of about 690 MPa, the yield point of 283 MPa, and elongation of 45%. The density of these rods is 8.69 g/cm³ and the melting range is between 1350°C and 1400°C. Providing superior pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking resistance, Hastelloy threaded rods retain their mechanical properties in both oxidizing and reducing conditions.
