Haynes 25/L605 Bars are cobalt-based superalloys with the chemical composition of Cobalt 49–53%, Chromium 19–21%, Nickel 9–11%, Tungsten 14–16%, Iron up to 3%, and Carbon 0.05–0.15%. These bars have superior mechanical properties such as a tensile strength of 960 MPa, yield strength of 485 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Their physical properties have a density of 9.13 g/cm³, melting point of around 1330°C, and high resistance to oxidation, thermal fatigue, and wear, and they are thus fit for high-performance applications in high-temperature conditions.
