Nickel Alloy 201 Fasteners are constructed from a low-carbon alloy of Nickel (99.0% min), Iron (0.4%), Manganese (0.35%), Silicon (0.35%), Carbon (max 0.02%), Copper (0.25%), and Sulfur (0.01%). This composition enhances resistance to graphitization and improves thermal performance. These fasteners provide tensile strength of about 403 MPa, yield strength of 103 MPa, and elongation of about 45%. Having a density of 8.89 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1435–1446°C, Nickel 201 fasteners also provide fine thermal and electrical conductivity, and hence, are used in high-purity and corrosive service conditions.
