Nickel Alloy 201 Tubing consists of Nickel (99.0% min), Iron (0.4%), Manganese (0.35%), Silicon (0.35%), Carbon (0.02% max), Copper (0.25%), and Sulfur (0.01%). The low carbon content avoids embrittlement at high temperatures, making it suitable in thermal processing conditions. Its tensile strength is about 403 MPa, yield strength is about 103 MPa, and elongation is 45%. Density is 8.89 g/cm³, and melting range is 1435–1446°C. Nickel 201 also has superior thermal and electrical conductivity and is best used in corrosive, high-temperature, and high-purity service conditions.
