Nimonic 90 Bar is an alloy of nickel, chromium, and cobalt that is particularly noted for high strength and temperature oxidation resistance. Its chemical composition is around 57% Nickel, 19.5% Chromium, 18.5% Cobalt, 2.5% Titanium, 1.4% Aluminum, with traces of Iron and Carbon. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 1000 MPa, yield strength of 600 MPa, and 20% elongation. Physically, it possesses a density of 8.18 g/cm³ and a melting point around 1320°C. These features render Nimonic 90 Bar appropriate for demanding applications in harsh environments.
