Nimonic Bars generally consist of Nickel (≥70%), Chromium (18%–21%), Titanium (2%–3%), and Aluminum (1%–2%), along with minor constituents like Cobalt (≤2%), Iron (≤3%), Carbon (≤0.1%), and Manganese (≤1%). These bars have superior mechanical strength and creep resistance. Their tensile strength is 900–1100 MPa, yield strength is approximately 600–750 MPa, and elongation is around 20%. Nimonic’s density is around 8.2 g/cm³, and its melting point is approximately 1350°C. It is therefore perfectly suitable for high-temperature and high-stress conditions where resistance to oxidation and deformation is essential.
