The addition of niobium improves mechanical performanceproviding tensile strength in the range 450–750 MPa and elongation in the range of about 25–30%. R05255 bars possess a high melting point of 3017°C, density of 16.6 g/cm³, and thermal conductivity of about 57 W/m·K.
