Hastelloy Tube C276 Fittings consist of about Nickel 57%, Molybdenum 15–17%, Chromium 14.5–16.5%, Iron 4–7%, Tungsten 3–4.5%, along with traces of Cobalt <2.5%, Carbon <0.01%, and Silicon <0.08%. These fittings provide a minimum tensile strength of 690 MPa, yield strength of 283 MPa, and elongation of 40–45%. Their physical characteristics are a density of 8.89 g/cm³ and a melting point of approximately 1370°C. The balanced composition of the alloy provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in oxidizing as well as reducing conditions.
