Nimonic Sheets and Plates, being usually made of nickel (approx. 69%), chromium (18–21%), titanium (1.8–2.7%), and aluminum (1.0–1.8%), also incorporate minor proportions of iron (≤3.0%), cobalt (≤2.0%), manganese (≤1.0%), carbon (≤0.10%), and silicon (≤1.0%). These alloys have high yield strength (~600 MPa), tensile strength (~1000 MPa), and elongation (~20%). They have physical properties such as a density of 8.19 g/cm³ and excellent performance at temperatures up to 815°C. These properties make Nimonic Sheets and Plates appropriate for high-stress applications needing both mechanical durability and thermal degradation resistance.
