Super Duplex Steel Coil normally has 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% nitrogen, and below 0.03% carbon, with the iron as basis and minor additions of manganese, silicon, and copper. This specific chemical composition provides excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. It provides mechanical strength with tensile strength of approximately 800 MPa and yield strength of 550 MPa, together with 25% elongation. Physically, the material is 7.8 g/cm³ in density and possesses good thermal conductivity and structural stability under varying temperature and pressure conditions.
