Super Duplex Steel Sheet and Plates S32760 consist of approximately 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% nitrogen, and 0.5–1.0% copper, with the rest being iron and trace elements such as manganese, silicon, and ≤0.03% carbon. The alloy has superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It has a tensile strength of about 800 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and elongation of about 25%. Having a density of 7.8 g/cm³ and good thermal conductivity, S32760 plates are stable mechanically and resistant to corrosion at a wide range of temperatures and thus can be used in severe conditions.
