AWS Class ENiCrCoMo-1 Coated Electrodes consist of 44–55% Nickel (Ni), 20–25% Chromium (Cr), 10–15% Cobalt (Co), and 8–10% Molybdenum (Mo) and small amounts of Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), and Silicon (Si). They produce a tensile strength of about 760–850 MPa, yield strength of about 580 MPa, and elongation of 25–30%. Their density is roughly 8.4 g/cm³, and they retain mechanical stability at temperatures of more than 1000°C. Made for high-temperature applications, they exhibit outstanding resistance to carburization, oxidation, and thermal cycling, which makes them ideal for welding superalloys for applications under extreme conditions.
