AWS Class ENiCrFe-2 Coated Electrodes consist of around 60–65% Nickel (Ni), 20–23% Chromium (Cr), 8–10% Iron (Fe), 2.5–3.5% Niobium (Nb), and trace amounts of Manganese (Mn ≤1%), Silicon (Si ≤0.5%), and Carbon (C ≤0.10%). These electrodes possess high tensile strength, usually in the range of 760 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and elongation of 30%. They have very good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. With a density of around 8.44 g/cm³ and a melting point over 1300°C, they are ideal for high-temperature and high-stress conditions with intense oxidizing or reducing conditions.
