AWS Class ENiCrMo-10 Coated Electrodes consist of 57–63% Nickel (Ni), 20–24% Chromium (Cr), 8–10% Molybdenum (Mo), 0.5–1% Iron (Fe), and traces of Cobalt (Co), Manganese (Mn), and Silicon (Si). These electrodes exhibit outstanding mechanical properties with tensile strength of about 760 MPa, yield strength of about 590 MPa, and elongation of 25–35%. They exhibit excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments as well as stability at temperatures above 1000°C. With a density of approximately 8.4 g/cm³, they also exhibit superior weldability, high creep strength, and resistance to cracking in thermally and chemically aggressive environments.

AWS Class ENiCrMo-10 Coated Electrodes find extensive applications in industries demanding high resistance to aggressive chemicals and harsh heat. These electrodes are best suited for welding alloys like Hastelloy, Inconel, and other high-performance nickel-based alloys. Typical uses are in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, flue gas scrubbers, and chemical and petrochemical reactors.
