Duplex Steel Screws are generally comprised of Chromium (21–23%), Nickel (4.5–6.5%), Molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), Nitrogen (0.14–0.20%), Manganese (≤2%), and balance Iron, giving superior corrosion resistance and strength. They possess a tensile strength of approximately 620 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and an elongation of 25%, providing a tough and ductile performance. They also have a density of 7.8 g/cm³ and melting point of about 1400°C physically. These characteristics render Duplex Steel Screws appropriate for stressed, pressurized, and corrosive environments, including chloride-bearing and marine environments, where mechanical integrity and degradation resistance are required.
