Typically, Duplex Steel Washers consist of Chromium (22–23%), Nickel (4.5–6.5%), Molybdenum (3–3.5%), Nitrogen (0.14–0.2%), and traces of Manganese, Silicon, and Carbon. These washers possess great mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 620–880 MPa and yield strength of approximately 450 MPa. They possess great hardness and toughness even at low temperatures. Physically, Duplex steel possesses a density of about 7.8 g/cm³, a melting point of about 1350°C, and great thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. These characteristics make them ideal for extreme chemical and sea environments.
