Hastelloy W Pipes consist mainly of Nickel (65–70%), Molybdenum (25–30%), Iron (4–6%), and Chromium (up to 5%), with small traces of Cobalt, Carbon (≤0.02%), and Silicon (≤0.15%). These pipes have wonderful mechanical characteristics like a tensile strength of 760 MPa, yield strength of 345 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Their physical properties consist of a density value of 9.22 g/cm³, melting range at approximately 1330°C, and enhanced weld cracking resistance, oxidation, as well as resistance to thermal fatigue, due to which they suit their applications within high-pressure as well as temperature–high environments nicely.
