Nickel Alloy 200 Nuts are chiefly made of Nickel (99.0% min) and traces of Iron (0.4%), Manganese (0.35%), Silicon (0.35%), Copper (0.25%), Carbon (0.15% max), and Sulfur (0.01%). Due to the above composition, they are resistant to alkalis and reducing chemicals. They have a tensile strength of 462 MPa, yield strength of 148 MPa, and elongation of 45%. With a density of 8.89 g/cm³ and melting point of 1435–1446°C, these nuts also have good thermal and electrical conductivity, which is perfect for high-temperature and electrically conductive uses.
