Nickel Alloy 201 Nuts consist of Nickel (99.0% min), Iron (0.4%), Manganese (0.35%), Silicon (0.35%), Copper (0.25%), Carbon (0.02% max), and Sulfur (0.01%). The lower carbon content provides resistance to graphitization at high temperatures. These nuts provide tensile strength of 403 MPa, yield strength of 103 MPa, and elongation of about 45%. Their density is 8.89 g/cm³, and the melting point is between 1435°C and 1446°C. Furthermore, Nickel 201 has superior electrical and thermal conductivity, non-magnetic behavior, and high resistance to caustic alkalis and neutral salts.
