Nickel Alloy 201 Pipes are made up of Nickel (99.0% min), along with trace constituents such as Iron (0.4%), Manganese (0.35%), Silicon (0.35%), Carbon (0.02% max), Sulfur (0.01%), and Copper (0.25%). The low carbon content provides improvement in high-temperature resistance to graphitization. These pipes provide a tensile strength of about 403 MPa, yield strength of 103 MPa, and elongation of 45%. Physically, they possess density of 8.89 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1435–1446°C. Nickel 201 also possesses superior thermal and electrical conductivity, making them well suited for heat- and corrosion-heavy conditions.
