Duplex Steel 2205 Bars are made up of balanced chemical composition with 22% chromium, 5–6.5% nickel, 3–3.5% molybdenum, 0.14% nitrogen, and iron as the remainder. These elements offer excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. The bars have excellent mechanical properties like tensile strength of 620–850 MPa, yield strength of approximately 450 MPa, and elongation of 25%. The physical characteristics are a density of 7.8 g/cm³, melting point of 1350–1400°C, and a thermal conductivity of 19 W/m·K, guaranteeing operation in both high-pressure and corrosive situations.
