Duplex Tube S32205 Fittings contain Chromium (21–23%), Nickel (4.5–6.5%), Molybdenum (2.5–3.5%), Nitrogen (0.14–0.20%), Manganese (≤2%), and the balance Iron. They offer balanced microstructure as well as great corrosion resistance. Mechanically, they have a tensile strength of about 620 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and elongation of 25%. Their physical properties consist of a density of 7.8 g/cm³ and a melting point of about 1400°C. These properties lead to fittings that are robust, long-lasting, and pitting-, crevice corrosion-, and stress corrosion cracking-resistant, and thus are suitable for use in high-pressure and chemically aggressive conditions.
