These washers possess exceptional mechanical strength with tensile strength up to 1240 MPa, yield stress about 1030 MPa, and elongation of 12–30%. They have a density of 8.44 g/cm³ and melting point between 1290–1350°C, making them a safe bet to perform in high-stress situations.
