Inconel Fasteners consist mostly of Nickel (≥58%), Chromium (20-23%), Iron (5-7%), with additions of Molybdenum (8-10%), Niobium (3.15-4.15%), and trace amounts of Carbon (≤0.10%). Mechanically, they have high tensile strength (up to 1000 MPa), yield strength (up to 690 MPa), and elongation (≥30%). Physically, Inconel fasteners have high resistance to oxidation, better thermal stability, and a melting point of approximately 1350°C. These characteristics provide consistent performance in high-stress, corrosive, and high-temperature applications, which makes them best suited for critical fastening requirements in severe environments.
