Inconel 601 Fasteners are processed from a strength nickel-chromium alloy containing 58–63% Nickel, 21–25% Chromium, and trace amounts of Iron up to a maximum of 14%. They also contain 1.0–1.7% Aluminum, ≤1% Manganese, ≤0.10% Carbon, ≤0.5% Silicon, ≤1% Copper, and ≤0.015% Sulfur. These fasteners have a tensile strength of approximately 600 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of 30%. It has a density of 8.11 g/cm³ with a melting range of 1360°C to 1411°C.
