Monel Threaded Rod consists mainly of Nickel (63-70%) and Copper (20-29%), with small additions of Iron (2.0-2.5%), Manganese (up to 2%), Silicon (up to 1.5%), and Carbon (max 0.3%). These rods possess high mechanical properties such as tensile strength of up to 550 MPa, yield strength of around 240 MPa, and an elongation of around 30%. The physical properties encompass a density of 8.8 g/cm³ and a melting point ranging from 1300–1350°C. Monel Threaded Rods are resistant to pressure and temperature changes and provide better corrosion resistance against seawater, acids, and alkalis.
