Monel Wire is mainly composed of Nickel (63–70%) and Copper (20–29%), together with minor content of Iron (2–2.5%), Manganese (up to 2%), Silicon (up to 1.5%), and Carbon (max 0.3%). With such a content, it delivers exceptional resistance against corrosion and oxidation. Monel Wire generally provides tensile strength of up to 550 MPa and yield strength of about 240 MPa with an elongation of approximately 30%. Its physical characteristics are a density of 8.8 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1300–1350°C. These characteristics make Monel Wire suitable for application in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive conditions in a wide range of engineering applications.
