Monel Pipes consist mostly of Nickel (63–70%) and Copper (28–34%), along with traces of Iron (1–2.5%), Manganese (≤2%), Silicon (≤0.5%), and Carbon (≤0.3%). The alloy provides superior corrosion resistance in seawater and chemical environments. The pipes have a tensile strength of about 550–620 MPa, yield strength of 240–345 MPa, and elongation of 30–35%. Monel Pipes, with a density of 8.8 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1300–1350°C, have high mechanical strength and thermal stability and can be used at ambient as well as elevated temperature applications.
