Monel Tubing consists mainly of Nickel (63% min) and Copper (28–34%), with minor content of Iron (2.5%), Manganese (2%), Silicon (0.5%), and Carbon (0.3%). This material provides better corrosion resistance, particularly in chemical and marine environments. The tubing has a tensile strength of around 550 MPa, yield strength of approximately 240 MPa, and elongation ≥35%, thus providing toughness as well as ductility. The density of Monel is 8.8 g/cm³, and it has a melting point ranging between 1300°C and 1350°C. These mechanical and physical characteristics render Monel tubing suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive conditions of service.
