Monel 400 Tubing consists of mainly Nickel (Ni) 63–70% and Copper (Cu) 28–34%, and trace elements such as Iron (Fe) up to 2.5%, Manganese (Mn) ≤2%, Silicon (Si) ≤0.5%, and Carbon (C) ≤0.3%. It possesses good mechanical properties with tensile strength of 480–620 MPa, yield strength of about 170 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. The density of the tubing is 8.8 g/cm³ and its melting point ranges from 1300–1350°C. Known for its toughness and corrosion resistance, Monel 400 tubing performs reliably in both cryogenic and high-temperature applications.
