Super Duplex Steel Screws are generally composed of Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (6–8%), Molybdenum (3–5%), Nitrogen (~0.3%), and Iron (balance), with small additions of Manganese (<2%) and Carbon (<0.03%). This composition has superior pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion resistance. Mechanically, the screws provide high tensile strength (~750–850 MPa), yield strength (~550 MPa), and elongation (~25%). With a density of 7.8 g/cm³ and thermal conductivity of ~15 W/m·K, Super Duplex Steel retains strength and corrosion resistance up to 300°C, and hence it is suitable for extreme conditions.
