Super Duplex Steel Threaded Rods normally contain Chromium (24–26%), Nickel (6–8%), Molybdenum (3–5%), Nitrogen (0.2–0.3%), and Carbon ≤0.03%, and a base of Iron with traces of Manganese and Silicon. It has a composition that gives 750–1000 MPa tensile strength, greater than 550 MPa yield strength, and about 25% elongation. The density is 7.8 g/cm³ and shows good pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking resistance. Due to their high fatigue strength and thermal conductivity, Super Duplex threaded rods are suited for fastening components in corrosive, high-pressure environments.
