Tantalum R05200 Sheets and Plates contain a minimum of 99.95% pure tantalum, with impurities such as oxygen ≤ 0.015%, nitrogen ≤ 0.01%, carbon ≤ 0.01%, hydrogen ≤ 0.0015%, and iron, nickel, and other metals ≤ 0.01%. These sheets are highly ductile, with tensile strength of about 200–275 MPa and yield strength of about 140 MPa. Elongation is usually ≥ 25%, and density is 16.6 g/cm³. With a melting point of 3017°C and excellent corrosion resistance—particularly to acids—Tantalum R05200 provides excellent performance in hostile chemical and high-temperature environments.
