Tantalum R05252 Plates and Sheets are produced from a corrosion-resistant tantalum alloy with 97.5% tantalum, 2.5% tungsten, and trace amounts of oxygen (max 0.015%), carbon (max 0.01%), and nitrogen (max 0.01%). The tungsten content enhances the mechanical strength while retaining high corrosion resistance. The material has a tensile strength of 450–550 MPa, yield strength of approximately 400 MPa, and elongation of about 20–25%. With a density of 16.6 g/cm³, melting point of approximately 3017°C, and thermal conductivity of 57 W/m·K, it excels under conditions of high temperatures and corrosiveness.
