Monel 400 Sheets and Plates contain mostly Nickel (63% min) and Copper (28–34%), along with minor elements such as Iron (2.5%), Manganese (2%), Silicon (0.5%), and Carbon (0.3%). They possess excellent mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 550 MPa, yield strength of 170 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Physically, it has a density of 8.80 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1300–1350°C. These properties confer superior corrosion resistance, toughness, and thermal conductivity, making Monel 400 suitable for use in aggressive and high-stress applications.
