Monel Sheet and Plates consist predominantly of Nickel (63-70%) and Copper (20-29%), with small amounts of Iron (2.0-2.5%), Manganese (up to 2%), Silicon (up to 1.5%), and Carbon (max 0.3%). These products have a tensile strength of around 550 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Physically, they have a density of 8.8 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1300–1350°C. Monel Sheet and Plates offer superior corrosion resistance to seawater, acids, and alkalis, and good thermal conductivity and mechanical strength over a wide range of temperatures.
