Super Duplex Steel Wire S32750 possesses a very strong chemical composition, with the usual composition of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% nitrogen, and up to 1.2% manganese, the remainder being iron. These constituents strengthen the alloy by making it highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion. It provides good mechanical properties in the form of tensile strength of 800–1000 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and elongation of 25%. Physical properties comprise density 7.8 g/cm³, melting point 1350–1400°C, and thermal conductivity of approximately 15 W/m·K and are thus perfectly suited for harsh environments.
