Duplex Steel S31803 Wire possesses a dual-phase microstructure consisting of around 21.0–23.0% Chromium, 4.5–6.5% Nickel, 2.5–3.5% Molybdenum, ≤2.0% Manganese, and 0.14–0.20% Nitrogen. Its mechanical characteristics are a high tensile strength of approximately 620 MPa and yield strength of 450 MPa, with elongation of about 25%. Physically, it possesses a density of 7.8 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1350–1450°C. This blend of chemical and mechanical characteristics provides superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in hostile environments.
