Hastelloy C276 Wire is mostly composed of Nickel (57%), Molybdenum (15-17%), Chromium (14.5-16.5%), Iron (4-7%), and trace levels of Tungsten (3-4.5%), Cobalt (max 2.5%), and Manganese (max 1%). The content provides superb mechanical properties with a tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa, a yield strength of 283 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. It provides a density of 8.89 g/cm³ and melting point of 1325°C to 1370°C. All these provide its superior corrosion resistance, stress, and thermal resistance, ideal for demanding applications.
