Monel 400 Flanges consist of Nickel (63% min) and Copper (28–34%), with minute traces of Iron (2.5%), Manganese (2%), Silicon (0.5%), and Carbon (0.3%). This material provides better corrosion resistance in severe environments, such as seawater and acids. The mechanical features are tensile strength of approximately 550 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation ≥35%, providing strength and ductility. Physically, Monel 400 contains a density of 8.8 g/cm³ and melting range of 1300–1350°C, so these flanges are appropriate for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.
