It possesses superior mechanical strength with tensile strength of approximately 655 MPa, yield strength of 310 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. The density of the wire is 8.47 g/cm³ and melting point is between 1354°C to 1413°C. The alloy is highly resistant to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking, oxidation, and carburization, hence suitable for use in high-temperature and corrosive conditions.
