Inconel 601 Wire contains mainly Nickel (58–63%), Chromium (21–25%), and Iron (balance), with Aluminum (1–1.7%), Carbon (max 0.10%), Manganese (max 1%), and Silicon (max 0.5%). It has superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of approximately 550 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Physical properties are a density of 8.11 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1320–1370°C. These qualities render Inconel 601 Wire well suited for applications involving high temperatures, mechanical stress, and corrosive or oxidizing conditions.
