Inconel 625 Wire consists of Nickel (58% min), Chromium (20–23%), Molybdenum (8–10%), Niobium + Tantalum (3.15–4.15%), with the presence of small quantities of Iron, Carbon (max 0.10%), Manganese (max 0.50%), and Silicon (max 0.50%). It possesses good mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 827 MPa, yield strength of 414 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Physically, the alloy possesses a density of 8.44 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1290–1350°C. Inconel 625 possesses excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation, which allows it to be used in severe engineering applications.
